Wild, I think KFC, TB, and PH are part of Yum Brands (also included are Long John Silvers, A&W Restaurants, and Wingstreet) , which indeed used to be a Pepsico owned subsidiary. The ties were partially severed some time back when Burger King restaurants were told not to use Pepsi products since they were in effect funding their competition in the fast food market. Since then, YUM still maintains a quasi-relationship with Pepsico, but are no longer a wholly owned subsidiary.
