Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling One Day On A Desert Island Blonde Man: Then it's agreed. A democratic system, majority rules. Brunette Man: Yes. Bald Man: Right. Ralph: Okay. Blonde Man: All right, then. I propose that the three of US share this coconut, excluding Ralph. All those in favor? Brunette Man & Bald Man: Aye. Ralph: Nay! Blonde Man: It's the will of the people, Ralph. What could be more fair than that? Ralph: It's not fair to ME! Blonde Man: You were OUTVOTED! It's the democratic method! Ralph: SOME things can't be put to a majority vote. Such as the oppression of a minority. Ralph: We need a Constitutional document that supersedes the ordinary legislative process, ensuring fair and equal application of laws and certain basic rights for all. Blonde Man: I think we should have another vote. Blonde Man: It's the will of the people, Ralph. Ralph: Is this a bad time to bring up my right to same-sex marriage?
