lucky ducky the poor little duck who's rich in luck in "expatriate games" mustache: how was your visit with your money, hollingsworth? hound: excellent! my money works so hard for the u.s.a. -- fueling the economy, creating jobs... i wish there was something i could do for it to show our appreciation. mustache: well, your money could certainly use a vacation! hound: that's it, stillson! i'll send it on a well-deserved holiday! mustache: florida? puerto rico? hound: yech. too downscale! my money does not speak spanish! i've got it! sunny, beautiful beaches -- the cayman islands! and that is the only reason i have cayman island bank accounts and companies! press: it's got nothing to do with upper-class tax avoidance? hound: my money and I are patriots, sir! in fact, it's the lower class that's been traipsing off to foreign lands... ...spending their u.s. money offshore, getting special tax breaks! aha! here comes a poor duck, just back from a tour! where were you, and did you leave any assets?! ducky: iraq, and i left a leg! hound: see?! lucky ducky!
I like the superpak fun comics, too – dripping with satire. BTW, news.yahoo.com/comics has not shown this week’s “Tom the Dancing Bug.” It just keeps running the previous week’s strip.
