The diction of louis "My school week of magical thinking" , or "arriving at a superstition that will drive you crazy" Okay, lets try this: don't step on any cracks. oops Ha! Louis: how about knocking on wood? Teacher: and, Louis. your poster of Geronimo? Louis: I forgot it at home, Ms. Hartsel. Louis: Is this flattened penny souvenir from Mt. Rushmore a good luck charm? whats around Louis? Louis: I think I lost my math book. Louis: Maybe I have yo be rubbing the penny for it to work Pass them back. Did you know about this test? Yeah! He told us on Monday. Louis: I thought this penny was a good luck charm but it sucks. did you forget your generonimo poster again, Louis? Louis: yes. Louis: So i will not talk about superstitions, Thats clearly bad luck. D- Louis Maltby Louis: Oh my god. I think I know whats happening ! Its bad luck to follow superstitions! Thats it!! SO I won't be supertsious, and I'll have good luck, But that is a superstition! This is going to be rough.
It’s been my experience that the worse a person’s luck is, the more they believe in luck. Extremely lucky people tend to credit all the advantages they have to their own hard work—even when it’s obviously caused by outside events.
