A good analogy would be Twitter. I don’t particularly like the shallowness of thought and lack of nuance it gives to dialogue and consider some aspects of it harmful, despite its massive popularity amongst both the public and the media, but to be honest, I don’t pay much attention to it, nor do I judge people with accounts harshly, unless they attempt to drag me into it somehow.
