We are sleepwalking into a major catastrophe but it is entertaining. That moment with Vance and Zelensky in the White House was great TV. It stops being funny when you read about people being in detention centres because they overstayed their visas 3 days. Reading thy are moved around in shackles between private-owned prisons run for profit. It is not funny and is a wake up call when colleagues lose their jobs (their non-permanent contracts) because they were researching climate science. Means you might be next. Hitler was a joke too. But in 2 months Nazi goons completely changed Germany. They passed the “Law to Remedy the Distress of the People and the Reich” that basically overrode constitution. Trump, or whoever thinks these things for him, is doing the same one executive order at a time.
