As in so many other comics like Frazz, the kids reenter the same class with the same teacher each year. I had one teacher twice in elementary; she moved up from 4th grade to 5th grade with us, which was cool since we liked her.
This is his version of the ‘noodle incident’ trope. Amazingly in the Disney cartoon “Milo Murphy’s Law” there is the ‘llama incident’ and they actually show it. Most unusual.
