Every year my mother would tell my Dad to get a table top tree, and every year he would buy the biggest one he could find!

I think I know where Wallace gets his bravado!

I just noticed Dad’s clenched fists in panel 2.

We haven’t seen much of Sterling lately.

1st panel – partridge in a pine tree?

Maybe get an artificial tree so that you know each year that the star/angel/whatever at the top will almost brush the ceiling?

Mom and Dad never had this problem when i was a kid.

They would always choose one too big on purpose. Mom used the trimmings off the bottom to decorate around the house.

The tree was always just the right size. Pop always loved the scent from the extra pine around the house.
