Spud’s YELP review of the Starfish Facial Massage Salon.
The sensation of the podia gluing and ungluing in sequence is soothing. The tug and release of the tube feet rhythmically expanding and contracting as the ampulla alternately pump them full and then empty them hydraulically is both stimulating enervating… in a good way.
WHAT AM I SAYING! IT COMES FROM THE DEEP! IT WANTS TO DRAG ME DOWN THERE WITH IT! IT’S TRYING TO PULL MY FACE OFF… BECAUSE IT DOESN’T HAVE ONE OF ITS OWN!

Way to take an innocent children’s cartoon and turn it scary by introducing alien face-huggers!

Do people in Snug Harbor put Starfish at the top of their Christmas trees?

Got to agree with Wallace on this one. I’ve actually had the chance to do this on a warm tropical storm on a sandy beach in Hawaii. Amazing sensation.

There appears to be a whimsical face in the cloud behind the boys in panel 1.
