I really, really like this comic! Love the story, the drawing style, everything. Just one tiny quibble: It would be nice if there wasn’t always smoke coming out of the heroine’s pipe or nose in every panel in which she appears. It distracts from the fine detail in the panels, maybe because of the cool gray tones against the generally warm colors, or just because it is in nearly every scene.
I know it is part of her persona, and just a tiny thing but thought I’d mention it.
Keep up the good work, Ms. Ashwin, and BTW I started reading Bad Machinery and enjoy it!
