That whole subject will get awkward when Sid’s little “problem” come to light eventually, because you know it will.

I want to know the secret he told Curiosity … maybe the fact that he doesn’t REALLY have a degree?!

Luckily Wolfe has had some experience in keeping users of the supernatural with different approaches from killing each other (even if Mal’s approach is “I don’t want anything to do with… okay, this little spirit is an exception, I’ll listen to ‘is advice… but the rest can just go ‘ang… ‘sept that’s making Wolfe sad, so can’t have that.”

Actually, Mal and Sid might appreciate that both have magic they didn’t choose and that acts on it’s own, that yeah, if Mal has to be a witch, Sid ended up the King of Thieves. And Sid is somewhere between… is it Ben? the guy missing his library, and the operation by instinct of Mal. So a common language may be possible. Especially if a violinist soothes the edges

Magick is after all energy. Though the utilization of it is different from conventional physics since you tend to not use devices so much as your brain, soul, and wand (antenna) though parabolic antennas work too.

What I really appreciate is how we (but I exclude me) followers analyse the very complex goings-on in these stories. I need their help, a bit, but the best bit is trying to work it out on your own. You’re a DEEP story-teller, Kate!

Speaking of Curiosity, I don’t see any cats in Widdershins before. Curiosity doesn’t have anything to do with them, doesn’t it?
