I never had an opportunity to hire.. but always figured looking into a workers tool box would be better than any fancy resume.

My father’s toolbox was rusty and battered. It only held a few tools, but he could fix anything that went wrong on our car or lawn mower.

The Fink thinks he’s boxing clever.

Years ago a Rigid Tool Co calendar was hung in our shop. Each month we would get a new picture of partially clothed beauties holding plumbing tools. When the new sexual harassment regulations hit all that came down. I don’t think Rigid Tool Co publishes the calendar any more.

The tool is carrying the box.

Now there goes a broad-minded mechanic. He has sandwiches in his lunchbox, but cheesecake in his toolbox. (I’ll let myself out now).

True sign of a skilled worker I guess.
