As someone who has tacked iron on more than a few… hundred horses in my life time I can say without doubt I would like to have a dozen or more of these horses to shoe! You would get to make the same money with half the travel during the day driving from job to job.
And I would sure like to drag a bull to the fire: Branding fire that is with one of them! If it didn’t pull the saddle tree in two you shouldn’t have any problems with the horse?

Shouldn’t there be ten legs on the horse?

Thought of only by the Wiz.

Nine is okay, five on one side, four on the other.

The Wiz didn’t have to breed, just chanted an incantation. With nine legs he might pull to the right a bit.

Nine legs? The faster to run away with, my dear!

William, to answer your question about how the Wiz managed to accomplish the act of breeding between a horse and the centipede….
“Veeeeeery carefully!”

How about giving it a try with a chicken? Could make a fortune on wings and drumsticks…

William, somebody put the centipede up to it.

That horse has a slight centimpediment to his walking.
A horse with 9 legs is called a neuf-ipede- however you spell it!

^^^ The next heavier hydrocarbon after octane is nonane, so that was my logic.
