Use it in the daytime and you, too, could wear an eye patch; just as the pirates do.

Update your tom tom a few times and you might not get lost.We update our $99 tom twice a year and it doesn’t squawk recalculate over and over.

Had a GPS that was in German in San Francisco a few years ago. Took me forever to get it to operate in English. Danke Gott.

I love coming here, just for the educational value. I got the joke immediately, but I was thinking, “oh yeah, that’s that thingy that they used to navigate ships with. What IS that thing called again?” Sextant. Thanks! :)

They worked great on clear nights for determining latitude, ie 47 deg North – but not on longitude, ie how far E/W.Question: If you were 0.0 0.0 0.0 (Lat, Long, Altitude, where would you be?

Got my GPS at CVS Pharmacy for $19.95, complete with windshield mounting bracket, car charger, home charger & instruction book. It’s in the black & yellow GPS For Dummies box in the electronics section and works just as good, if not better, than my old $149.00 Tom Tom.
