That’ll work, if that doesn’t work increase the dosage to 16 times a day.

While this may work for many people it won’t very well for those with the fat gene, I’ve been involved with that research at the local university and people with that gene. The less they eat the more their body saves. The information shows that eating average actually helps them lose weight, eating excess gains just like everyone but eating less, going on crash diets or stopping food actually increases weight gain for a few months before the body has no choice but to finally use it up.

Their best bet is to eat normal, because eating less won’t lose weight, however if you work out you can lose weight while eating normal.

The university was working on a way to turn off the fat gene when funding ran out and here I am at a different job these days. Had they been able to turn it off, then those folks would be normal just like everyone else.

(Not saying it would be healthy, just applying the first law of thermodynamics.)

Sounds like our ‘commenters’ are born of the post-70’s generation. “A Cure For Everything” (just read my book) My cousin and a neighbor survived the Bataan Death March, but not by much, and the neighbor’s lifetime weight rose to almost 300 lbs, whereas the cousin got all the way up to 150 lbs and they both died in their 90’s… Go figure. Yet those ‘magic breast creams’ advertised in the back pages of TeenGirl Magazines of the day seemed to work pretty well with all my sisters. Then they had kids. This ramble has nothing to do with weight and responses never will. We am what we am, and there’s no getting around it. Look at your family pictures.. NO, not of the picnic at the lake when you were six, but of those of the 1870’s and earlier.. THEN go make fun.

Yep—only if the “local CVS” has not been burned to the ground.

Is this happening in your neighborhood? If so, did they do something to offend a portion of the population? Not sure it’s justification for burning a local business; although some folks don’t need any justification… they just need a match!
