Does any one remember “Hennnnry,,,Henry Aldrich” from the old radio show by the same name? It was before TV!

You got to get him off canned food, it’s bad for him. All fat and tainted by the metal it in.

I do remember the time before TVsets were everywhere. When I was born there were just about 3000 receivers in my native country (then about 4 mio. inhabitants) as broadcasting had just begun two years earlier. My family didnt get a set until 1961, but early enough to follow the erection of the Berlin Wall. A few american series reached us (Perry Mason, The Flintstones, Maverick and The Lucy Show most notable). Thus I sometimes have difficulty understanding TV-references, but thanks to google I learn still more English.

I love Mondays on GoComics. Most updates on Monday. Today, 396 updated, total comics 547. That’s 72.4%. My least favorite day is Sunday. Fewest updates. I don’t understand why the total of updates changes each day. Anybody know? — Donald
