Too many missing

I was going to say this gets my goat, but ewe wouldn’t like it!

He suffers from ovinitis.

When I’m worried and I can’t sleep

I count my blessings instead of sheep

And I fall asleep counting my blessings

When my bankroll is getting small

I think of when I had none at all

And I fall asleep counting my blessings

It’s ever so much harder to count sheep in the dark of night.

I do not know where this concept came from, but counting sheep, counting anything, is a cerebral activity that will keep you awake.
