Now you’ve done it. Some twit will tell us “Indian Summer” is insensitive, and insist we all call it some new PC tag.
Political correctness is out of control! The sad part, is most succumbs to it….
No no no …! Indigenous Peoples Seasonal Adjustment Cycle is the new PC term.
If you don’t want to rake leaves, plant pine trees.
I just say “Second Summer”
…but why did the tree scoop it’s leaves up?
Gimme my leaves back! I’m naked.
I must say I’m a bit surprised at this one. I almost expected to see a date at the bottom showing it was 30 years old.
Chicagoans will recall the 1907 “Injun Summer” cartoon and story published every year by the Chicago Tribune until it was deemed not PC (!) in 1992. My mom would cut it out and hang it on our refrigerator every autumn.
