Drunk Sledding???

Why does that bring to mind a bit of weird trivia? In the movie Conan the Destroyer (1984) the location was very cold. The fake blood kept freezing! So they changed the formula to include vodka… because alcohol does not freeze. Then… they had a new problem. They kept running out of fake blood… because everyone kept drinking it. (Snicker!)

Done a lot of sledding in my youth, no alcohol involved , though it may have helped the frostbite that came with it.

We used to go tobogganing very high… On the hill, people.

I never did drunk sledding, but I have done drunk roller skating and go-carting.

I would imagine that Rodney’s job will be to pull the sled back up the hill.

Nothing like Christmas Vacation….

We have a pretty large place, and one year we threw a huge sledding party down by our barn, which is next to a hill. My hubs built a huge sled run that zigzagged around trees and down the hill. There was much food and drink, and sledders whizzing down the hill, past the barn and horses, with some landing in the creek! Oh, what fun, with kids and grandkids, and yes, some drunk sledding.

You guys need to listen to the spitballers podcast! It’s so funny!

“Christmas vacation”! I haven’t heard it called that in a long time – at least not officially. It’s “winter break” now. I much prefer “Christmas vacation" though!
