Back then you could entertain the idea of giving out rocks without worrying about them returning home. The hard way. :)
If I was a kid trick-or-treating and someone gave me a rock instead of candy, they could expect to get it back through their front window. Why not? I’m already wearing a disguise.
Am I the only one who felt badly for Charlie Brown, getting all those rocks while the other kids got candy?
