Rita says, "We need more revenue- generating ads on this website." Jay says, "Why don't we get rid of all the content and have just ads?" Rita says, "Great idea! Make it so!" Jay thinks, "Someday, I'll learn to think, then speak?"
A marketing genius had to have come up with the idea that paid subscribers get an ad-free website, while the “free” version is covered in ads. I can’t afford to “subscribe” to all my favorite sites, so ads are nothing but a big annoyance. I have also promised myself that I would never buy anything that bombards me with ads when I am trying to relax.
