easier yet… there are so many conventions for so many industries, associations, groups etc, booked into the Orlando area you can usually find a fit that the IRS will buy..

@ scott roberts—-Hmmm. Didn’t you mention that the reason for the week of reruns was because you forgot to post them when doing a trip to Orlando? A tax write off cartoonist convention? Is that where the idea came from for todays strip? Very smart thinking!

People will find any way to throw politics into a discussion. Our trip to Orlando didn’t have anything to do with a convention, although last year Scott stopped by the Comic Con in San Diego while we were there. It was mobbed. Almost as mobbed as the Science Expo was this past weekend, in Wash DC. All were excellent trips!

So I guess presidents should be required to own their own ranches so they don’t have rent hotel rooms when they vacation. Those trips to Chicago, I don’t suppose you remember that the Obama’s home is in Chicago. And the President grew up in Hawaii, so that was also “going home” as many of us do on vacation.
