Lazy people usually are the ones inventing brilliant stuff to avoid work.

If necessity is the mother of invention, then laziness is the father.

Is it me or does anyone else notice a definite shift in the tone of this strip in the last month or so?

There’s a story of a couple of men years ago noticing a man just sitting on a porch apparently doing nothing. One of the men asked who the man on the porch was and the other said the porch-sitter was the laziest man in town and his entire family would probably be out on the street any day now. The lazy man was Robert Frost.

I’m going with brilliant.

My girl friend use to ask me “If you’re a genius,how come you’re not rich?” I always told her the truth “Because I’m lazy!”

“…lazy, crazy or brilliant”.Why not “and” instead of “or”?

no more business suits, and pantsuits. no more fashionistas, fashion industry, and fashion mags. no more kardashians.

I had a job where I wore bib overalls. Strictly speaking it was a violation of the unofficial dress code, but since I rarely dealt with the public, had one of the highest production rates, and almost always got stuck with any dirty or grunt work (crawling under some machine to clear a jam, etc.), management tended to turn a blind eye toward it.

Scott is battling the flu that has been knocking him down for a few days hence the reason we’re running a bit behind.
