I’m wondering if Maxine’s department is actually an other-dimensional version of Rita’s, with the two overlapping a la The Twilight Zone. That would explain a lot of the things we see here.
I always get a kick out of fads that are supposed to make a person “unique” – just like everyone else, right, @craigwestlake? LOL I did my share of being “unique” in middle school. Decided to ignore the fads after that (except for a Tom Baker inspired scarf).
