Star Trek Into Synchronization

(We have a young kitten that likes to climb up onto the headboard of my parents’ bed and walk along it in order to see what we’re doing. Mom is constantly telling her to get down. This happens one night while a recent Star Trek movie is playing on TV.)

Mom: talking to kitten sitting on headboard behind her head without looking “Get down.”

Scotty: on TV “Get down.”

(The picture cuts to his pet-like companion crouched on top of some equipment.)

Me: starts laughing while my mom gives me a look “You’re in sync with the TV!”

NOT my story.

My wife likes Star Trek, I prefer Film Noir. Yet, we’re still married after 45 years, Go figure.

This may be an HR thing,,,,,

The Borg were not in Star Wars

I have been on the receiving end of those. Not as benign as Tekkie vs SW trivia.

A friend of mine made a T-shirt with the “Enterprise” on it and “Biggest Star Wars Fan”.

Never watched Star Trek after the first season. I went back to reading science fiction. Shatner was driving me crazy.

That’s just flat out cruel.

I think Rita is actually a geek like them. Except that she feels superior in cruelly teasing them like that.

It wasn´t the borg. It was the cylons, or the daleks.

Love it! Rita is not always dense …. now if she could only channel that into something positive and worthwhile for the company
