Exactly, Susan. When I lived in the SF bay area years ago, it took me half an hour to drive just five miles to work in the morning on the completely full two lanes (each way) freeway. They finally added a third lane each way (traffic really horrendous during the lengthy construction) and, when completed, it took me half an hour to drive to work on the completely full six lane freeway.
