They actually Did a comic with this story line Many Years ago.An IRS agent chased down the Man of Steel and served him with a Subpoena demanding to know Why he hadn’t ever filed a 1040..If I remember correctly, they hit him with an “Al Capone” suit: They could Prove he had a very Large Income because of all the Charitable Donations he’d made to various Orphanages.(Being an Orphan himself, he’s got a soft spot).The Man of Steel found a Lawyer who was able to argue successfully that, because of his history of Saving the Entire World on Multiple occasions and averting numerous “Natural Disasters”, the Entire population of Earth are his Dependents and he is entitled to deductions for Every Person whose life he has saved..
