I have been fortunate never to be in anything more confining than an ace bandage or a splint, and I’m grateful for that. But my understanding from everyone I’ve ever know who HAS been in a cast is that you are extremely anxious to have it removed, even if it’s being replaced with a different cast. If only to allow for a wash, dry, a checkup and a fresh set of gauze.

I thought they used a special saw to remove a cast. I never heard of using tin snips.

people expecting him to do things vs having to use the cast, and if he ever wants to remove it his muscles and bones will be all stunted and weak..
