“Fake news” should be a wake up call to check anything you hear as carefully as possible, because the “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” rule is no longer in effect when it is to any political organization’s advantage to blow as much smoke as possible.
Looks like we either stop reading altogether and be totally uninformed; read without fact checking and be misinformed; or not believe anything and be skeptical of everything.
