and what bothers me is that our city refuses to hire lifeguards fulltime to avoid paying benefits and they make only slightly more than minimum wage… despite the skill set needed to do the job. Happy anniversary to you and your wife
Happy Anniversary! Much respect our lifeguards. I am 63 and wouldn’t be here if not for a lifeguard. I fell into the deep end of a public pool when I was 5. No one realized until someone yelled out that it looked like a towel in the bottom. A lifeguard dove into the pool and brought me up, performed CPR, and saved my life. I got to thank him in person in 1998 on Oprah.
A very happy anniversary to y and your wonderful wife! My wife and I celebrated our 50th in February. Isn’t it fun to be married to your best friend? I also love the huge pile of memories and spend a little time remembering some of them every day.
