poor big beast. he/she has probably been bullied all their life about their looks, so they are insecure. doesn’t justify their actions but doesn’t make them a monster, either. we also came to the story late. we also don’t know the large thing (?) attacked her, just seems to be implied but it could just be helping her up after she took a tumble or was attacked by someone else. more information is required. or i’m reading too much into it.
