A good fruit cake recipe, Make the cake and whilst cooling have a young child pour a lot of brandy over it. When cool, ice with marzipan icing, then put in a box for three months before eating. I got one done that way when in Vietnam, the skipper reckoned it should be put in bond, never had a slice before going on duty.
