Fruitcake jokes are old, and not funny, and certainly not original. By the way, I like fruitcake, that is good fruitcake – not junk. The best? Find someone who makes it homemade.
My family fruit cake recipe is based on Canadian War cake with the addition of candied fruit. My daughter used it for a dessert project in culinary school and got an A on it.
