That phone was probabaly installed there by a towing firm. Every time a car falls in, CHA CHING! ;D

Well, who’s going to fill the pothole? Certainly not motorist after motorist.

Many years ago in Philadelphia a bus broke an axle hitting a pothole, blocking a major downtown street. After a morning traffic reporter said a bus “had fallen into a pothole”, the other newscasters had a field day joking about it. My favorite was the claim that the transit authority had established a new bus route from one end of the pothole to the other.

Such a courteous pothole!

This must be a repeat comic from maybe 40 years ago. Ask yourself what year was the last time you seen a brightly yellow painted car driving on the road?

This comic needs to be rerun in the Spring when the thaw creates potholes.

In our town it is somewhat real.

I see this as a good thing, Zig. There’s a phone right there. How convenient!

The insurance claim will probably fall through just like the car did. Ziggy will have to pay out of pocket… if he has one.
