She sings with expression – but that ain’t the right one.

Same thing happened to me in high school. Everyone was required to try out for choir by singing the do-reh-me….. I never got past “doe” before the choir director called out “Next”

You don’t have to be able to sing, play an instrument or compose music to be a “pop star” today, just talk and grunt occasionally.

Hey, at least you got the ‘Happy’ out. Some auditions don’t even get that far.

I think to be a pop star, I would need an engine, a microphone and a manual transmission. Also noise canceling headphones. Scream into the microphone, roar the engine and grind the gears.

But current “pop stars” are not required to sing. Just listen to them mumble and screech.

She’ll have to sing through her nose if she wants to be famous.
