Yeah, really! If you don’t like my lawn, you can feel free to come over and take care of it yourself! It’s mowed when it needs it, raked when the leaves fall and that’s that!

So where was Gumbo in all this?

Since Adam doesn’t take care of his lawn his neighbor’s jealous of all the free time Adam has.

Oh! What an anti-climax. Adam being pranked by aliens was too good an idea!

Adam is doing his part for the environment by allowing his yard to go wild. My family did that when I was a kid and we had all kinds of wildlife. When we would get shamed into cutting the grass there were always a lot of large toads injured by the mower blades, and you would see the rabbits hopping away as the mower got near. I always felt bad for the poor toads as they weren’t doing any harm. people who strive for weed free manicured lawns are monsters with no regard for the natural world.

It looks like the neighbor needs to move.

unkempt?… overgrown with weeds? or merely not cut to a regulation 2 ⅞"?

I always thought his lawn was as kempt as anybody else’s.
