I’m pretty sure Rob didn’t forget. He was probably just …waiting. Yeah, that’s it waiting. Giving you room to grow. You know, find yourself and become the best you, you can be. ..forget what, again?
I’m glad to see cartoonists “doing the odd dig” at themselves in their strips. Thank you, Rob Harrell, for a more outwardly expressed one in this case. Most others you have made about Adam@Home are just restrained to theme length and to which the family members occasionally speak..FYI: The only other cartoonists I ever see “doing the odd dig” towards themselves are in Pearls Before Swine and Overboard, at least in the cartoons I follow.
90% of manuscripts submitted are fiction. 90% of what actually gets published is non-fiction, last time I was paying attention to such statistics about a dozen years ago. On the other hand, if it’s a comic book I’ll buy it for us and for our young grandkids to read.
“Wink”, I wonder what the new title is? We’ll probably find out “When Pigs Fly” from the “Monster on the Hill” over the “Big top”, Such is the “Life of Zarf” as we know it.

Is that right, Rob?

Cartoonists have too many irons in the fire… I can’t imaging how they come up with all this stuff, let alone remember old story lines and loose ends.

I didn’t forget and I still want to know who is going to take care of the four kids and Gumbo when Laura is on her book promotion tour.

No, this is accurate… it takes a good bit of time to produce a published work: editing, rewrites, design/layout, printing, binding, packaging, etc.

Rob didn’t forget. It’s just been a question of getting the timing right. (Yeah, that’s the ticket, timing.)

If I were Laura I would have been bringing it up somehow in conversation on each daily strip. If you want something done do it yourself!
