Spouses are supposed to support each other. But it’s difficult to not be teed off when you’ve done something for a long time (albeit with many struggles) and someone picks it up and hits it out of the park the 1st, much less the second time.

Adam has been “struggling” from Day #1.

Why doesn’t he just admit that he’s just a hack and his wife is the real writing talent in the family??

Back in the ’50’s-’60’s, a gifted wife would deliberately fail in order to salvage her untalented hubby’s ego.

Thank goodness that era is over!!

And she knows just how she’s going to use it in the next chapter.

More like a cacophony of raw, untamed internal and immature emotions.

He got there in the end.

Good job Adam! If he keeps this up he’ll be able to write self-help books!

I’d say that Andre’s coffee shop is hiring, but Adam would drink up the profits.

Ah yes, isn’t it funny how Adam continually fails at a craft he’s pursued his entire career, unable to generate anything of meaningful value with his life, while his wife succeeds at it from day one without even trying. I’d say that’s worth the punchline of at least 100 comic strips. /s
