    I enjoy a daily 1 hour long nap mid-afternoon.

When that PowerPoint starts, Clayton will soon be napping.

Adam should be proud. His son simply wants to learn from the best. But I do see his point.

He seems like the ideal candidate to volunteer for a scientific study on the effects of caffeine on the indolent.

Even at my advanced age, I don’t nap. However, after lunch, sometimes my eyes slam shut for an extended period.

The reason I had my husband quit his job was partly because of his naps.

He no longer enjoyed his job. He was running a children’s non-profit mental health/school agency. His background is in counseling/mental health. When his boss retired he got the job.

State mental health would come in and tell him that they had to do X. He would set up and spend the money to set up what they wanted. They would start doing so. State Ed would come and in say “What the heck are you doing? You’re not allowed to do that!” Or the same in reverse.

He also had to deal with the local union for teachers/counselors – thing like in salary negotiations they had planned to raise salaries by say 10% (making up numbers to explain) and the union would say that they are asking for 5% and he would have to argue with same to raise to the higher amount?! (Non- union staff – himself included – were given the same raises/benefits as union – so he always pushed for more benefits as he got them also.)

He would come home and go to bed for a nap until dinner due to all of this and I was afraid it was all going to kill him. Which is why he retired early and now he has to only worry about me killing him after him being around all the time for the past 15 plus years.
