    No way they have paychecks! It’ll be direct deposit or a debit card. Paper checks are too costly for big corps to do anymore.

    That last sign is so very true. I worked for the library as a teenager. During my interview, I was asked if I knew how much I’d be paid. I quoted the minimum wage of the time; I was told that I’d be making less than that
