Don’t like to think that we’re all delusional and doomed. I’d like to think that most of us realize and accept reality, such as it is.

Trout’s grasp on reality is much more firm.

Yea, but that drill looks pretty spiffy…

I really want to see an adult version of Agnes where her resiliance has paid off and she’s living a great life.

She could make custom drain plugs for bathtubs

I bought a ball joint press to work on my daughters Chevy van. When I worked on my Ford van, I took parts off and brought to the auto parts/machine shop to have the ball joints pressed out and in. Chevy put the ball joints in the A-arms and Ford put them in the knuckle. No drilling required.

Trout will never make a decent republican if she keeps clinging to shards of her sanity, that way…

And before you start with the criticism – remember that LIFE itself is political in every way that matters, and if you don’t accept that, you’re not defining your life properly…

So Agnes is aware that she lives in a state of “delusional optimism.” Interesting . . .

Delusional optimism is Agnes’ reality. :)

A 1/2 inch drill from the 1920’s sounds like it might be a collector’s item. Worth something surely. Maybe even just a pawn shop.
