I don’t think her neck muscles have developed that much, yet, to lift such a load.

I can’t remember the name of the book, but it was a silly YA I read in grade school. High school kid wants to be a big shot, but every time he tries a different activity it blows up in his face.

In the end, his buddies have to drag him to the prom, because he’s tired of having all his failures rubbed in his face. He ends up being voted King because everyone in school has seen his valiant efforts.

But sometimes, obscurity is all there is. ;-)

Assuming that big nose CAN be pointed upward

If obscurity made money, Agnes would seek it.

Whenever you turn your nose up, people will want to know what you’re looking at

i’ve excelled at obscurity for many years now and it’s nothing to sneeze at. especially with nose upturned… ☺

I was never popular in school and it didn’t matter to me, my schoolwork and studies were more important to me. I have never been popular in adulthood either and not a big deal.

“I do not want to join but I want you to WANT me to join so me NOT joining will have some semblance of meaning.”

Makes perfect sense to me.
