Oh, no. Tear down Schultz’ home. Think of the tourists who would visit and leave money before leaving. Besides how could they tear another symbol of good.
I took my much older wife to visit an area in California Gold Country where she spent her childhood summers. She spent considerable time walking around now-empty fields “hallucinating” the places that used to be there. I lived more than 25 different places before I was an adult. Places hold little nostalgia for me (and vice versa).
Schultz was good until the early ’60s when Snoopy licensed merch took off. He trimmed his sails and Peanuts became substantially less sick. I remember being disappointed.

How true. Life is just a tad more bearable with the comics and a good cup of coffee.

His Santa Rosa house was not touched by the 2017 fires. But his neighbor’s homes were.
