I have a friend that used to buy all the cards she needed at the beginning of the year. She then put the cards in a box, organized by month. At the beginning of every month she would check the box, get the cards ready however necessary (address, note in card, stamp, whatever). Then she would date them as to when they needed to go in the mail. They would go to her mailbox early enough so they would get to the recipient on time, like clockwork. I dearly miss getting cards from her every year for birthdays anniversaries and the like. She passed away about a year ago from Cancer. I miss her. She was my age and a lovely, giving woman.

Thank good for Jaquie Lawson beautiful watercolor ecards. Birthdays tend to sneak up on me so I order them in advance for delivery on The day.

Send them two each, so you can be early for next year.

I have a calendar with all the birthdays, etc. written on it. Now if I could figure out how to get myself to look at the calendar early enough…

I rely on Alexa to remind me in advance of special birthdays and holidays, but remembering them after that is still a crap shoot.
