No downside to eating out until the check comes.Went to a national chain fast food last night. It is carry-out only because it can’t people to work. It was closing early because it could not get people to work.
This is what I keep telling my husband. But he just does not like to go out to eat. His downsides: I have to pay for it (I buy groceries, we pay for them); I don’t like to eat in front of people. (Not much I can say to that). So I just go out with friends.
The ex and I enjoyed going out and eating in equally. Now I rarely if ever go out to eat as I don’t like going by myself. Cooking is no longer the joy it was either. Not really fun to cook for yourself unless your making cookies. Nobody sees you eating the dough or the cookies for that matter :-)

My husband and I go out to breakfast once a week on shopping day. We go to the local, small cafes with the great food. Love it!

I love cooking, but I also love going out to eat! Both have pluses!
