Aren’t we all.

You say that like that’s a bad thing.

If there’s a fresh pot made, you want coffee. No ambiguity, no decision making. The answer is YES!

You still use a percolator? Blah!

You never have to ask me twice! If there is coffee, I want some.

Fill a mug, take a sip, and then warm your hands around the mug. Don’t forget you can upcycle the experience with cookies or a (little) piece of cake.

What is the *PERCOLATOR" you speak of?Just kidding. I remember my parents and grandparents had them. As to the ‘weird’ thing, it’s what makes us special and unique. SOME more than OTHERS.

Percolator? Just did an internet search and discovered that they’re still around.

Percolator? Yes, they are still around. I have one. Don’t use it that often, but definitely have one. Strong coffee for strong people. Good man, Dan.

Now Amanda’s indecision is another matter. Not sure what to make of it…

I can actually “translate” this (I think!) She wanted coffee, but didn’t want to make her own, and didn’t want Dan to go through the trouble of making it for her. So, in her mind, there was “no coffee”, therefore, “I want coffee, but can’t have it, so I no longer want it, to save myself the pain of wanting something I can’t have”. Since there is coffee available, she had to restart her brain into figuring out whether she does want some!

But, now I’m wanting coffee… I think. ;)

It’s coffee.. gimme , gimme coffee now!
