some kids needs TAPING to their mouths apparently. That brings back memories though. Like the one time I’ve learned how to program the VCR player to record in specific time to record my favorite cartoon while I’m at school. Came back home to realize that my mother decided that she wanted to start a WIKIPEDIA back then flipping through every “%”£$""£$ TV channel available back then (i think there were 4 only or 5, and they were more enjoyable than most channels nowadays) because she liked to discover … something ….. Why Mom??? Whyyyyyyyy

We had to wait for the price to drop from 2k to two hundred, but finally (years ago) purchased a combo VHS-DVD recorder, so we could tape onto DVDs (usually editing out ads) from our DVR. Saves us money especially as a season of a tv show on DVD can still sell for big bucks. It was and is a great way to loan out a show to friends “here you must watch this show”. So, Nyah to the pedantic youngster!

Recording? Isn’t it all recorded and available for streaming on demand?

Well, the brat.. I mean kid called it a “show,” which is from the antiquity of vaudeville, then early movies “picture show,” and the word movie it self is from the antiquity of “moving pictures.” I’m sure the kid says movies. Bust that brat! :oD

OK – I do know this cartoon reflects things that had happened a few years ago, but it wasn’t difficult to find all your favorite shows online even back then.

I’ve wasted thousands of Euros on VHS-tape – but that was decades ago.

Cartoonisters love to hate on lawyers and then on day you need us and then we help you and then you like us and then POW! 30 days later you get our invoice and then you have another reason to hate on us and then eventually you realize that you have no idea why we really really like run on sentences not to mention non sequiturs.
