Our family tradition, after my maternal Grandparents were no longer hosting: hot dogs after midnight. I hated it.
Grandma’s tradition was a full feast after twelve, with fruitcake, pudding with hard sauce, cream puffs and Welsh rarebits.
At least we continued with the rarebits.
Try pouring it in a glass.
Festivity is what you make it. I think Proverbs 15:17 has something to say about it.
Oh! They brought out the GOOD aluminum.
well hmm they are if you pour them into glasses with some ice cubes shrug
“Clink” HA!
Sometimes, you gotta use what you have…
Just add some fancy wine glasses and BAM! Class it up.
As long as it’s not store brand, new year’s eve demands the pricey bubbly.
We had ginger beer. For me old age makes intoxicants not work.
Mmmm, fondue…. (Crossing the forks would have been festive and sweet.)
