James May did a great series on mostly British toys. Called “James May’s Toy Stories,” it crosses over to American toys well (e.g. Meccano = Erector, Airfix = Revel, Monogram, etc.). Available on YouTube.
I’m a fan of getting old series on DVD and watching them instead of the new stuff. The characters and writing had to be good, because language / dicey situations weren’t allowed.
I haven’t had TV since early 2000. I don’t even miss it. I can watch the local PBS on my computer, when they have a Masterpiece Theater that I want to see.

Really liked that series, also The Food That Made America.

Haven’t found much at all to view from the 21st century. My small collection of early 20th century films seem to feed my need for escape.

I really hated all the hype about Tiger King. I never watched it, never wanted to watch it, never will watch it!

Too much ridiculous drama for my taste.

My friends and I went to a convention right after Thanksgiving and the husband bought a lightsaber! You would probably really like him!
