There used to be an Anderson’s TV & Stereo chain in the SF Bay Area. They closed their last location in 2009. They could not compete with the larger (Best Buy) stores on volume and the prices of big screen TVs dropped too quickly for them to keep up. They had great service and friendly, knowledgable employees.

“Ander son” is Swedish for “other son”. “Anders” is also a Swedish name, but in Swedish, his son would be “Anders son” or “Andersson” as a surname.
